Perfectionism is a big risk factor in food and body issues. Wanting to flawlessly execute the diet and shape the body to look an exact way can lead to controlling and obsessive behavior. It is often seen as the culprit and a necessary part of self to be worked on if wanting to repair one's relationship to food and body. But is there a healthy expression of perfectionism?
